Due to the huge number of opioid related overdoses of African Americans and Native Americans in the Twin Cities, we want to ensure that members of our communities not only carry naloxone with them, but understand how to use it when they see a potential overdose. We touch on sensitive subjects like calling 911 during an overdose, or when to intervene when seeing someone on the street potentially overdosing. All of our in-person training sessions are interactive, and we address any and all questions that the group asks.
